After three delays and a lot of backlash, Anthropic locked it in: Fable 5 stays in subscriptions for good starting July 20. But not every plan gets the same deal. Here's the breakdown.
WHAT'S GOING ON
- →Anthropic planned to pull Fable 5 from subscriptions July 7 — backlash pushed it to July 12, then July 19, and now it's permanent.
- →Starting July 20: Max and Team Premium get Fable 5 built in at 50% of normal limits. Pro and Team Standard stay on usage credits with a one-time $100 credit.
- →The $20/mo plan gets no Fable 5 access — that's the line Anthropic drew.
